The Plum Island House is a new construction Residence for a contractor who specializes in New England seacoast residential construction. Due to the close proximity to the ocean, the house was constructed on a steel pilings, reinforced with a steel frame, making it possible to withstand major flooding and hurricane force winds. The bedroom and bath floor is on the first level and the family entertaining area is on the upper in order to gain additional privacy and sunlight. Each level has a deck with a stair the terminates at the roof deck with panoramic view of the island and the Atlantic Ocean.
